ABOUT VL RADIO · YOUR MUSIC TIME MACHINE

Different decades. One shared curiosity.

VL Radio is your music time machine: a handpicked journey from the 80s to today. Rediscover the songs you love, meet the ones you missed and follow new music somewhere unexpected.

A story that started in 1998.

Founded in Lebanon in 1998 by three young music enthusiasts, Vibe Lebanon began in a small bedroom with a shared passion for music. As one of the region’s early internet radio pioneers, it offered a different listening experience at a time when online broadcasting was still finding its voice.

A community of DJs and artists soon brought an eclectic mix of programmes to the station, creating an alternative to the mainstream sound of commercial FM radio.

More than a station.

VL grew into DJ booking and music management, then launched Vibe Lebanon Records—now VL Records—creating space for local electronic and alternative artists.

Past. Present. Still discovering.

Today, VL Radio connects familiar favourites, overlooked gems and fresh discoveries. New wave, alternative, pop, rock and laid-back sounds sit side by side, with music from Lebanon, the Middle East and around the world.

Curated in Lebanon. Made for curious ears everywhere.
